What we collect — and what we don't

We set no cookies, use no analytics tool (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Matomo), embed no social media plugins and run no advertising pixels. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing we would need to ask you about.

Your selection in the configurator is only stored in your own browser (session storage), so that it is already filled in on the enquiry form. Those details leave your browser only when you submit the form, and are gone at the latest when you close the tab.

Enquiry form

When you write to us, you send:

• name and email address (needed so we can reply)
• optionally your phone number and the address of the planned site
• your message
• if available, your selection from the configurator

Purpose: answering your enquiry, arranging the on-site appointment and preparing a quotation. We do not use your details for advertising and do not pass them on to third parties pursuing their own purposes.

Retention: as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to meet any statutory retention obligations — for enquiries that do not lead to a contract 24 months.

Recipients

We use Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) to send the form email. The provider processes the details from the form on our behalf in order to turn them into an email to us.

The site is hosted with Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA). When the site is accessed, technically necessary server logs are created there (including IP address, time and page requested), which serve secure operation.

Where data is transferred to countries whose level of data protection Switzerland does not recognise as adequate, we rely on the standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Your rights

You can request information about the data we hold about you at any time, have it corrected or deleted, and object to processing. An informal message to b.koehn@koehn-gartenbau.ch is enough. You also have the right to complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Security

The site is delivered encrypted (HTTPS). The form has simple protection against automated submissions. Nobody can guarantee complete protection against unauthorised access — so please do not send us particularly sensitive data through the form.
