Guiding idea

The advantages

One pool. Every possibility.

Shallow for relaxing, deep for swimming — your beach pool is both at once. Scroll and see how it is used.

Relax safely

A flat sand entry and hydro seats in warm, shallow water — simply slide in and float.

Swimming & diving

A free shape with a deep zone, for jumping in and swimming lengths. Then back to the shallows.

Equipment & extras

Your pool, your extras.

Bio.design pool from above

Counter-current unit

Swim on the spot, properly, even in a compact pool.

Bubbling geyser

A sparkling water fountain as a living focal point.

Shallow zone for children

A safe sand entry, flat and gentle, even for the smallest.

Water heating

Extends the season well into autumn.

Underwater lighting

In the evening the pool becomes a lit stage.

Hydro seats

Places to sit and lie in warm, shallow water.

Also as an indoor pool

The same system in a conservatory or indoor pool: all year round, sheltered, as a private spa.

Classic in the garden

Modelled freely into the garden, with a beach entry: the outdoor pool that feels like a lagoon.

Environment & sustainability

Concrete-free. By nature.

A Bio.design pool is not a foreign body in the garden; it fits in, without concrete and without a major intervention in soil and water. That is exactly what makes it as natural as it looks.

No concrete

No curing, no concrete shell in the garden. An elastic EPDM membrane instead of PVC. The ground largely stays as it is.

No interference with groundwater

Built non-invasively: no hydrogeological changes, the system sits lightly in the ground rather than sealing it.

Reuse the water

Treatment with a very low salt content means the pool water can be used to water the plants instead of simply being drained.

Built to stay

The membrane stretches up to 300% and adapts to ground movement instead of tearing. 25+ years watertight instead of replacing liners.

Grains

Your surface, your choice.

Ten natural quartz grains for the top layer and the joint. Pick one and see how it looks on a real pool.

Joint

The top layer sets the base tone of the walk-in surface, the joint adds the accent along the curved expansion joint. Freely combinable.

System

Seven layers instead of concrete.

Not a rigid concrete box, but a modelled system of fleece, membrane, reinforcing mesh and a patented resin-quartz surface. Scroll, and the pool comes together layer by layer, with footage from the real building site.

Layer 01

Excavating the ground

The excavation is the shape. Walls at a 40-degree slope, the base compacted with gravel and sand. Cement is expressly forbidden in the Bio.design system, because it would destroy the elastic behaviour of the shell. Below it sits a drainage layer that relieves groundwater pressure.
